We are looking for writers with a sharp wit and a critical eye who know exactly how to break down a fashion faux pas, a relationship red flag, or a cringeworthy moment for our audience.
Ideal candidates have at least three years of professional writing experience and are comfortable pivoting between diverse topics—from political figures and industry icons (think Dolly Parton and Martha Stewart) to HGTV stars and the latest Hallmark drama. We need self-motivated storytellers who can deliver honest, engaging analysis on everything from dating rumors to major makeup missteps.

Whether it’s breaking down the latest red carpet looks or analyzing celebrity relationships, we provide fresh, honest perspectives on the names everyone is talking about.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Select news and evergreen topics from a curated list of assignments
• Research, write, and submit 300- to 900-word articles via our custom CMS
• Turn around assignments quickly—speed and accuracy both matter here
• Follow our style guide, editorial strategy, and publishing standards to keep our content sharp, trustworthy, and engaging
What We Offer
• Compensation: $21–$25 per hour. Compensation within this range is based on experience and qualifications, with $21 per hour as the starting rate.
• Reliable payment: Paid on time, twice a month
• Flexible scheduling: You choose your own days and hours
• Fully remote: Work from anywhere with a good internet connection
• High visibility: Static Media content reaches 220M+ readers/month and is syndicated across MSN, Yahoo, AOL, Apple, and more
What You’ll Need
• At least 3 years of editorial experience (writing and/or editing)
• Comfort working in a CMS
• Familiarity with the Associated Press Stylebook and strong command of grammar and structure
