Freelance Blogger and Web Copywriter

We are seeking a high-level freelance writer who can work remotely and independently to create compelling, medically accurate, and brand-aligned content across our ecosystem of websites, products, podcasts, and docuseries. This role is central to executing our Central Hub Content Strategy, ensuring every written piece supports our conversion funnels, SEO authority, and storytelling impact. About Us We are a dermatology and hair restoration brand with multiple interconnected digital properties: Our mission is to combine medical authority with engaging narratives that inspire, inform, and convert. Your Role You will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that fuels our podcast and docuseries pages, blog articles, microsites, and social channels, while integrating SEO best practices. Content ranges from in-depth medical explanations to emotionally compelling patient stories. This role requires someone who can: • Write clear, engaging, and accurate copy tailored for web, social, and PR distribution. • Research and synthesize complex medical topics for a lay audience without losing authority. • Develop story-driven scripts and summaries for podcasts, docuseries episodes, and behind-the-scenes features. • Build content that naturally integrates conversion CTAs and SEO structure (meta, schema, keyword placement). • Collaborate with design, video, and social teams to create cohesive campaigns. • Maintain brand tone and cross-platform consistency. Responsibilities • Research industry-related topics (online sources, interviews, studies). • Write episode summaries, blog posts, FAQs, and PR-style articles tied to our video/audio content. • Apply structured data formats (VideoObject, FAQPage, Article) for SEO. • Draft scripts, captions, and social posts for promotional clips (30–90 seconds). • Proofread and edit content before publication. • Coordinate with marketing/design teams for article illustrations and campaign assets. • Promote content across relevant social and professional networks (LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora). • Ensure style, tone, and branding consistency across all content. • Analyze SEO performance and adjust content strategy based on metrics. Requirements • Proven track record as a content writer, copywriter, journalist, or publicist in health/medical or science-related fields. • Portfolio demonstrating SEO-optimized content and storytelling skills. • Strong research ability and capacity to simplify technical topics. • Excellent English writing/editing skills with a natural, engaging tone. • Experience with WordPress, SEO plugins (Yoast), and content management workflows. • Familiarity with structured data markup and basic HTML. • Ability to work under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. • Bonus: Multimedia skills (Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, podcast production). • Bonus: Experience crafting emotionally resonant case studies and brand narratives. Payment Terms: Per approved and posted piece (word count and complexity-based rate). Location: Fully remote. Must be available for virtual meetings during US Pacific Time working hours.
