The ideal candidate will collaborate closely on visual style and narrative approach, transforming a provided script into a cohesive, engaging piece that captures the essence of the story.

• Create high-quality 2D animation, preferably frame-by-frame, for a short cinematic trailer
• Develop mood, atmosphere, and emotion through lighting, pacing, and composition
• Collaborate on visual style and storytelling approach based on provided script and direction
• Ensure the trailer delivers a strong narrative and cinematic impact
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on animation as needed
• Deliver final trailer assets in required formats

• Proven experience in 2D animation, with a focus on cinematic or narrative-driven projects
• Strong portfolio showcasing trailers, story-driven animation, or similar work
• Expertise in frame-by-frame animation techniques and relevant software (e.g., Toon Boom, TVPaint, Adobe Animate)
• Excellent sense of lighting, pacing, and composition to build atmosphere and emotion
• Ability to interpret scripts and translate direction into compelling visual storytelling
• Strong communication skills and openness to creative collaboration
• Availability for project-based work and timely delivery of milestones
• Experience with book trailers or similar narrative formats is a plus
