Fractional COO

Remote Full-time
Overview

This role is a pivotal opportunity for a senior professional looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic company. The company is in the early stages of exploring fractional versus full-time opportunities for a key leadership position aimed at managing operations and driving growth. This is an exciting chance to step in as a second-in-command to help propel the business forward, enhance operational efficiencies, and create strategic growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
• Act as a pivotal leadership figure, managing key managers, and serving as the second-in-command to the founders.
• Oversee Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibilities, ensuring financial goals are met and resources are effectively allocated.
• Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and drive business growth.
• Collaborate with the team to create a strategic vision that enhances the company's position in the market.
• Evaluate existing processes and make recommendations for efficiency improvements.
• Facilitate the onboarding process and integration of new team members, including potential full-time hires.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to managers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.

Qualifications
• Proven senior management experience, optimally in an operational or COO role, within industries such as construction, remodeling, or real estate, though industry agnosticism is valued.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively and harmoniously.
• Comprehensive understanding of P&L management, business operations, and strategic planning.
• Experience with remote or virtual teams is beneficial, though not required.
• A track record of successfully driving operational improvements and achieving growth targets.
• Ability to adapt quickly and steer strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate smooth interactions with both internal teams and external partners.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the founders, playing a critical role in shaping the future of the company while also enjoying the flexibility that comes with a fractional position.
