Fractional CFO — Specialty Crop Finance

Our AI-powered CFO, Thomas, gives every grower the financial clarity, credit access, and strategic guidance to run a stronger, more resilient operation. We're not just building software. We're strengthening the financial backbone of American agriculture, one farm at a time. Role Description Part-time, 5-10 hours/week, remote. We do expect you to get out in the field to visit with growers, hearing their challenges firsthand, and bringing that back to the team. What you'll do: Train and validate our AI across real CFO scenarios such as cash flow, cost of production, credit, and more Review and pressure-test financial frameworks, logic, and outputs for specialty crop contexts Share domain knowledge that only comes from years in the field What we're looking for: You've spent your career in the trenches of specialty crop finance across multiple commodities. You've sat across the table from a lender and fought for a loan. You've managed farm finances at the field level and presented to a board. You see the whole operation and sweat the details that matter. You've been in the room when it counted. No AI experience? No problem. We'll teach you everything you need. What matters is that you're genuinely excited about what AI can do for the people who grow our food. Specifically: deep hands-on experience across multiple specialty crop types, ag credit and farm loan navigation from both sides, and the ability to move fluidly between a single farm's P&L and industry-wide trends. CPA or CFO-level background preferred.
