Fractional CFO / Finance Manager – AI SaaS Company (Long-Term)

Description We are looking for an experienced and highly autonomous Fractional CFO / Finance Manager to replace the current CFO within our finance team and manage a key client engagement. The client is a Switzerland-based AI SaaS company currently in the middle of a fundraising process. The environment is demanding and fast-paced, with high expectations in terms of accuracy, responsiveness, and financial rigor. This is a long-term collaboration. Company FlowIT Context • AI / SaaS business model • Scale-up phase, fundraising in progress • Direct interaction with founders and management • Close collaboration with an external accounting team • Remote work Key Responsibilities • Update and maintain the financial model and core SaaS metrics • Strong Excel-based financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting • Monthly financial reporting for management and investors • Financial support during fundraising (numbers consistency, scenarios, KPIs) • Coordination with the outsourced accounting team • Ability to propose pragmatic solutions within budget constraints • High responsiveness to client requests Required Profile • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Manager, or Fractional CFO • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and KPIs • Excellent Excel skills (advanced modeling and reporting) • Comfortable working with modern SaaS tools and learning new platforms • Very high level of autonomy and ownership • Reliable, structured, and detail-oriented • Comfortable working with demanding clients and tight timelines Tools • Excel (advanced level required) • Financial and SaaS tools • Ability to learn and work with FlowIT tools: Engagement Details • Budget: USD 1,000 per month • Long-term engagement • Remote • Part-time, impact-driven role This role is ideal for a senior finance professional looking for a long-term fractional position with real responsibility in a high-growth AI SaaS environment.
