Fractional AI Technical Facilitator
This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering and full-stack development. We need someone who already builds with AI the way most developers are still figuring out - someone with opinions about agent architecture, real production experience, and the full-stack skills to ship end-to-end. What you will work on • Building production agentic systems using Anthropic and OpenAI APIs • Designing and implementing agent frameworks with real tool use and external service integrations • React or Next.js on the front end, Python and FastAPI on the back end • Local inference with Ollama and model selection decisions (hosted vs. local) • Prompt engineering as a core discipline, not an afterthought • Rapid prototyping that turns into real systems What we are looking for • Hands-on experience building AI agents that have shipped to production • Comfort across the full stack - front end, back end, and AI layer • Opinions about agent design patterns and the tradeoffs between model providers • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and treat figuring things out as the job itself • Someone who builds systems that compound - more valuable over time, not just functional on day one What we offer • Remote, flexible work • High autonomy - we care about outcomes, not hours • Contract-to-hire path for the right person • Work that is in production and matters to real clients Salary $75 - $125 per hour
