Role Description
This is a remote, full-time role for an FP&A Manager within the firm’s CFO Services team.
This is not a traditional corporate FP&A role. You will serve as a client-facing finance lead, owning a portfolio of clients and acting as their day-to-day financial partner. You will help founders and operators translate financial data into actionable business decisions that improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
• Financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Building and maintaining 3-statement financial models
• KPI reporting and operational analysis
• Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Leading monthly business review meetings with clients
• Identifying operational and financial improvement opportunities
• Supporting strategic finance initiatives and decision-making
You will work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver clear, data-driven recommendations in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments.
This role is ideal for someone with 5–8 years of FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, transaction advisory, or related experience who is seeking greater ownership, direct client exposure, and a long-term path toward becoming an outsourced CFO.
Required Experience
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or related fields
• Experience owning forecasting and statement financial modeling processes
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel
• P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• KPI reporting and operational finance
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients simultaneously
• Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with SMBs or founder-led businesses in home services and trades
• Experience with financial systems like ServiceTitan, JobNimbus, QuickBooks, and KPI dashboard tools
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments
• Prior client-facing advisory or consulting experience
• CPA or CFA designation
Compensation
• $120,000 base salary
• Performance-based bonus opportunity tied to client ownership and firm growth
