Fowler College of Business SCEIN Fellow - Fall 2025
The Southern CA Energy Innovation Network (SCEIN) is an accelerator for startups developing solutions for California to meet its renewable energy goals. SDSU is a founding member of SCEIN. To date, 65+ companies have been served by SCEIN, 40+ of which are currently active in the program. The CEC (California Energy Commission) extended SCEIN through 2026.
Eligibility
ā Graduate students at the Fowler College of Business, SDSU
ā Interest in cleantech, entrepreneurship ecosystem or consulting
ā Independent work, high professionalism
ā Selection based on resume and/or interview/recommendations
Fellowship description
ā Grad students will help SCEIN companies solve their unique challenges through a semester-long consulting project (specific SOW)
ā Independent consulting with oversight from SCEIN Principal Investigators
ā Statement of Work (SOW) outlined at start of semester
ā Report & presentation at end of semester to SCEIN companies
ā Approx. 5-10h/week, but workload varies as needed.

ā Now recruiting for Fall 2025
ā Stipend for the semester ($3,300 flat stipend)
