Founding Psychologist (PsyD/PhD) – Remote (Hawaiʻi/Delaware)

Overview Aegis Behavioral Health Group is a telehealth psychiatric practice in the early stages of growth, seeking a Founding Psychologist to help build our psychology program from the ground floor. This is not a turnkey operation—it's an opportunity to shape something new alongside our psychiatric team. This fully remote role offers exceptional autonomy, flexible scheduling, and a strong compensation structure in exchange for helping establish and grow our psychology services. Psychologists licensed in Hawaiʻi or Delaware (or willing to obtain licensure) are encouraged to apply. What We Offer • Founding psychologist split: 85/15 • Fully remote work with complete scheduling independence • Aegis covers all credentialing costs (Hawaiʻi and optional Delaware) • Collaboration with psychiatric providers on complex cases • Opportunity to supervise future psychology trainees (additional stipend available) • No quotas, no productivity pressure, no corporate bureaucracy Responsibilities • Provide evidence-based psychotherapy for trauma, SUD, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring conditions • Conduct intake evaluations, ongoing therapy, and timely documentation • Collaborate with psychiatric providers to support integrated treatment • Help develop Aegis' psychology program as we grow • Supervise psychology trainees under your license as the team expands Qualifications • PsyD or PhD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology • Active licensure in Hawaiʻi OR Delaware (or willingness to obtain licensure) • Experience with trauma or substance use treatment preferred • Comfortable practicing independently within a telehealth model • Interest in supervision and program-building • Strong documentation, communication, and clinical judgment Compensation Founding psychologist: 85/15 split. Earnings are uncapped and depend on caseload.
