OverviewAt Blacksmith, we provide cloud infra to help companies run their CI (GitHub Actions) substantially faster and cheaper. Our mission is to build a CI cloud. Our bet is that CI, as a class of workloads, is ready to be unbundled from the hyperscaler clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure). You are excited to own the end-to-end design process — from early explorations and wireframes to polished, production-ready UIs.Full stack design skills (UX, design systems, UI, prototyping) and a strong sense for visual design for UI (layouts, components, design systems, polish, etc).Are comfortable collaborating directly with engineers, growth, and founders to shape product direction and company brand.Are proactive and have a bias for action. You are on top of the most pressing problems on your own.Have a strong visual eye and care deeply about craft — typography, spacing, hierarchy, and polish matter to you.Enjoy working in person 5 days a week in NYC or SF.Thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
