Foreclosure Defense Attorney
Established yet growing law firm is looking for an experienced foreclosure defense attorney licensed to practice in the State of Florida. Looking for candidates in the Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county areas.
The candidate will represent clients in court, conduct thorough research, prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients, attend hearings, advise clients and negotiate agreements. The candidate will work with paralegals and staff to meet all requirements for each case and serve as a reliable advocate for our clients. While this position is mostly remote, the candidate will need to appear in court hearings, trials and meet with clients.

Requirements:
• Applicants must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Florida
• Litigation experience preferred
• Knowledge of foreclosure defense and practice, staying current on developments
• Experience in another practice area in addition to foreclosure defense preferred but not required
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to help clients during very stressful and difficult times
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances and conferences based on case requirements
• Review case-related documents and determine the best course of action for each client in each case
• Willingness to work independently on all aspects of your caseload as well as the ability to effectively partner with others, utilize a paralegal’s assistance, and collaborate with Intake Specialists
