About the position

The Food & Beverage Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale is responsible for leading the food and beverage staff to ensure efficient operations and achievement of business goals. This role focuses on guest satisfaction, staff training, performance evaluation, and maintaining high service standards while managing expenses and building client relationships.

Responsibilities
? Lead the food & beverage staff to ensure efficient department operations and achievement of business goals.

? Attend meetings and communicate effectively with staff to meet guest and employee needs.
,
? Ensure guest satisfaction by meeting food and beverage service standards and responding to guest needs in a timely manner.
,
? Resolve guest complaints courteously and focus on service recovery when applicable.
,
? Train and model appropriate guest service standards alongside staff.
,
? Interview, hire, and develop associates, evaluating staff performance and providing coaching.
,
? Motivate the team by setting goals, providing feedback, and recognizing associates.
,
? Deliver discipline/corrective action and make termination decisions when necessary.
,
? Train all associates and maintain training records.
,
? Analyze quality issues, identify training needs, and implement improvements.
,
? Achieve business revenue goals by developing and implementing service programs.
,
? Build and maintain client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
,
? Develop and implement changes to food and beverage operations based on sales and guest feedback.
,
? Manage expenses to maximize hotel profitability and ensure effective labor management through scheduling.
,
? Conduct routine inspections of food and beverage operations to maintain quality standards and compliance with regulations.
,
? Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following procedures for guest/employee incidents.
,
? Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills and promote a positive work environment.

Requirements
? 3+ years of progressive food and beverage experience required.
,
? Minimum of one year supervisory/management experience required.
,
? High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
,
? Serve Safe, TIPS or CARE beverage service certification or ability to obtain certification required.
,
? Ability to communicate well with all levels within and outside the organization.
,
? Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves
? 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a hotel setting of similar brand or distinction preferred.
,
? Experience with a venue of similar size, volume, and reputation for focus on guest satisfaction preferred.

Benefits
