Flutter Developer Needed to Rebuild Random Name Generator Feature for iOS + Android
We are looking for an experienced Flutter developer to rebuild a legacy Random Name Generator feature from an older mobile app originally built in Xcode / Objective-C / cocos2d.
This is a small, focused feature project, not a full app rebuild.
Project Scope
The feature is a slot-machine-style animated random name generator that creates church names using existing logic and graphics.
We want this rebuilt in Flutter so it works smoothly on current:
• iPhone / iOS devices
• Android devices
The goal is to preserve the core behavior and visual feel while updating it for modern mobile screens and current development standards.
What You’ll Do
• Review the legacy source files for the Random Name Generator
• Rebuild the feature in Flutter
• Recreate the animated letter-strip / slot-machine behavior
• Use the existing graphics/assets
• Update layout and UI scaling for modern mobile devices
• Implement reset / replay behavior
• Deliver a clean, working feature that is ready for iOS and Android
Final Deliverable
We need:
A working Flutter implementation of the Random Name Generator using the existing graphics, updated for current mobile devices, and ready for iOS and Android.
This includes:
• complete Flutter source code
• integrated assets
• organized project files
• setup/run instructions
• final bug-fix pass before handoff
Ideal Experience
• Strong Flutter experience
• Experience building animated or interactive mobile UI
• Experience translating legacy features into modern mobile code
• Strong responsive layout skills
Bonus:
• Objective-C experience
• familiarity with cocos2d-era projects
• experience with game-like UI or slot-style animations
