Fluid Systems and Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a Fluid Systems Engineer to perform thermal-hydraulic and piping networks engineering design and analysis for mega-projects or advanced reactors, collaborating with various project teams and presenting technical materials.ResponsibilitiesDevelop pump, valve, heat exchanger, HVAC, or other equipment sizing requirements for plant design or modificationsIdentify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assignedSupport more senior engineering personnel in multiple design and analysis effortsCommunicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate technical lead and managementCollaborate with construction, I&C, electrical, and operations project teams with internal and/or external representationParticipate in customer, vendor, and regulator meetings to present technical materials and justification of services and product designsPerform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirementsSkillsBachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear)Minimum 3.0 GPA2025 and May 2026 Engineering Graduates encouraged to applyNo experience required; prior internship experience a plusExperience with MathCad, MATLAB, or VBAFamiliarity with testing and testing analysisFamiliarity with the nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs or advanced reactors or AP1000Experience with ASME or API standards is preferableExperience with design change control or requirements management is preferableEngineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer License is a plusAbility to travel to Westinghouse or CustomerBenefitsCompetitive SalaryComprehensive Health, Wellness and Income Protection BenefitsEmployee Assistance Program: confidential counseling and resources for employees, eligible dependents, and household members401(k) Savings Plan with Company MatchPaid Vacations and HolidaysOpportunities for Flexible Work ArrangementsEducational Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramCompany OverviewLaveer Engineering provides custom and off the shelf equipment solutions to industry.
