Flooring Estimator

Full-Time | Remote | Flooring Estimating Virtual Construction Assistants is hiring a Remote Flooring Estimator on behalf of one of our U.S.-based construction client. The ideal candidate has a strong background in flooring takeoffs for retail, hospitality, and multifamily projects. The Role As the Estimator, you’ll analyze construction drawings and specs, prepare competitive bids, and collaborate closely with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints/specifications; provide solutions to clients • Create estimates using Measure Square, and Measure CRM • Source materials and negotiate pricing • Support PMs, assist other estimators at the company • Assist with budgets and value engineering • Improve internal estimation processes • Lead client presentations and follow up on bids to convert estimates into signed contracts • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to foster repeat business and trust Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in commercial flooring estimation • Strong math, blueprint reading, and software skills • Strong business mindset, background in sales and estimation, negotiation of commercial contracts, and understanding of expectations • Able to multitask • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors and Project Management tea • Proficiency with Measure Square (required) • Excellent communication and time management • Team-focused mindset with self-motivation Apply tot his job
