As a Floater Travel Consultant, you’ll join our highly skilled remote team in a very unique role, providing outstanding service to our multiple dedicated accounts. You may cover the same account all week or may have a different one every day, depending on coverage needs. You will need to be able to multi-task and pivot on a dime and be open to learning new things. This is a very challenging role which requires the flexibility of servicing a variety of accounts with the desire to learn and manage new challenges.You will be provided with detailed training for this great opportunity.What You’ll Do on a Typical DayAdvise and arrange travel for corporate business customers.Use of one of our Global Distribution System - SabreEnsure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.Receive ongoing support whenever needed!What We’re Looking For5+ years corporate travel experience, including fares, ticketing, car, hotel, air, and rail for domestic and international travel.Native GDS expertise (Sabre)Professional communication (written and verbal)Attention to detail.Act with integrity and look after personal traveler information.Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplierTeamwork and openness to feedbackAbility to handle Multiple accountsAbility to be flexible and adaptive to change in schedule and or account servicingAgents with desire to learn and capability to adapt to the needs of each accounts unique requirements.A floater’s shift can vary Monday – Friday between 8:00am - 8:00pm ET to provide coverage to the accounts.All efforts are made to have you work in your local time zone.Schedules are posted for the year in advance on a calendar that you will have access to displaying the account you are covering and the time.LocationUnited StatesThe US national hourly wage range for this position is from $20.00 to $35.00 per hour. The national range provided includes the hourly rate that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.This role is eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance.
