Fixed Income Trader I

This role involves supporting trading, portfolio management, and investment research teams by conducting market analysis, providing operational support, and executing trades in the fixed income market.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth analysis of fixed income markets, including interest rates, credit spreads, economic data and macro factors. Communicate market insights and relative value opportunities to the investment teams. Stay informed of economic indicators and geopolitical events affecting fixed income markets. Assist with security type analysisAssist in troubleshooting middle office and operational issues from a trading perspective including, but not limited to dealer know your client (KYC) requests, trade fails, and settlement monitoring. Assists in counterparty onboarding, which includes identifying and initiating new trading relationshipsExecute trades (both buying and selling) for individual client portfolios. Utilize market intelligence to monitor trends in the fixed income sector while providing recommendations to investment strategy based on market analysis.
