FIU Analyst; Europe
Position: FIU Analyst (Europe) Location: Town of Poland Overview Moon Pay is building the infrastructure that powers the decentralized economy. We enable anyone, anywhere to buy, sell, and trade crypto using everyday payment methods and provide simple tools to manage stable coins. What You Will Do • Analyze transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics solutions to assess suspicious activity. • Review blockchain wallet screening and KYT alerts and determine risk indicators. • Conduct open source searches on relevant customers and counter parties. • Make alert dispositions with sound judgment using internal systems, blockchain tools, and open sources. • Prepare concise alert and case dispositions for Suspicious Matter Report (SMR) consideration. • Draft SMRs and discuss findings with leadership to determine proper action. • Ensure alerts, investigations, and SMRs are completed within established deadlines. About You • + years in financial crime, compliance, or investigations. • Experience with blockchain analytics solutions (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic, Cipher Trace, Score chain). • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to handle shifting priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment. • Team player with clear communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts. • Fluent in English. Bonus Points • Experience in a fast‑paced fintech or cryptocurrency company. • Blockchain analytics solution certifications. • Proactive, collaborative approach and solution orientation. • Practical approach to alert processing and analysis. • Feed rule/investigation output back into AML programme. • Interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and financial crime detection.
