Firmware Engineer

The Associate Firmware Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded storage firmware for the SFA product line, collaborating with team members throughout the development life cycle. Responsibilities Design, develop, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers Isolate and resolve defects Collaborate with local and remote team members Be involved with all phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required Skills BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Entry-level with 1 year of experience with embedded firmware development Experience in C would be beneficial Excellent oral and written communications skills Excellent troubleshooting skills Experience in Perl or Python Experience with phases of the development life cycle Experience with agile development processes and scrum teams Experience with cross-site development Experience with source code control and defect tracking systems Company Overview DDN (DataDirect Networks) is the worldβs leading AI and data intelligence company, empowering organizations to maximize the value of their data with end-to-end HPC and AI-focused solutions.
