Financial Services Representative - Central Islip

The Financial Services Representative will build and strengthen member relationships, recommend tailored financial solutions, and educate members on efficient banking methods. Responsibilities Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships Process routine financial transactions for members efficiently and accurately (including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA) in compliance with regulations and guidelines Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, savings, borrowing, and investing needs Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile, and ATM Provide financial education and services to members to help them fit banking into their everyday lives Proactively contact members to schedule appointments to discuss their personal financial goals Perform other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor Skills High School degree or GED required Minimum one year of general work experience, customer service, call center, sales or branch experience required Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, sales, mathematical, problem solving, multitasking and computer skills, and attention to detail required Minimum of six months cash handling experience preferred Benefits Paid time off for vacation, personal days, and holidays Fully-funded pension plan 401(k) company contribution Teachers pays 100% Premium Coverage for Vision & Dental Care Tuition reimbursement is offered to full-time employees Exclusive employee discount of 0.96% APR on credit card loans and a 1.00% APR on all other loans through Teachers Flexible hybrid schedule for eligible positions This position is eligible for our quarterly retail performance incentive program.
