Financial Services Representative

In this role, you will educate clients about investment strategies and market mechanics while advocating for them through complex issues. You will also participate in the Schwab Service Academy to obtain necessary licenses while contributing to a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices Engage with clients when answering inbound calls and tackle complex issues to offer solutions Attend the Schwab Service Academy for paid training and support to obtain Securities Industry Essentials and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses Skills Ability to work full time on-site during Schwab's training program (SSA), followed by a hybrid work schedule Ability to work various shifts to serve our clients 24/7, including overnight and weekend availability Previous customer service experience Previous client relationship experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related field from accredited university Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business Eagerness to learn about finance Passion for service to clients Motivation to learn about the securities industry, including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions Robust communication, influencing and client engagement skills Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team Shown success navigating multiple computer applications Benefits 401(k) with company match and Employee stock purchase plan Paid time for vacation, volunteering, and 28-day sabbatical after every 5 years of service for eligible positions Paid parental leave and family building benefits Tuition reimbursement Health, dental, and vision insurance Company Overview We have plans for every turn you take.
