Overview We are seeking a motivated Financial Services Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through effective planning and management of their assets. You will leverage your expertise in portfolio management, financial services, and customer relationship management to build strong relationships with clients and deliver tailored financial solutions. Responsibilities • Develop comprehensive financial plans based on clients' individual needs and goals. • Manage client portfolios, ensuring optimal asset allocation and investment strategies. • Provide insights on financial products and services, including investment opportunities and risk management. • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-ups. • Assist clients with understanding technical accounting concepts and financial software tools. • Be trained to stay up-to-date on relevant laws, including wills, trusts, estate law, and securities law to provide clients with current advice. • Conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities for clients. • Collaborate with other financial professionals to enhance service offerings and client satisfaction. Requirements • Proven experience in financial sales or consulting within the financial services industry. • Strong knowledge of portfolio management principles and practices. • Familiarity with customer relationship management strategies to enhance client engagement. • Proficiency in technical accounting concepts and relevant financial software applications. • Understanding of wills, trusts, estate law, and securities law is preferred but not mandatory. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Strong communication skills to effectively convey information to clients and stakeholders. • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
