POSITION DETAIL: Job title: Financial Operations Assistant Location: Remote Position status: Full Time FLSA status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Scheduled hours: 8:30- 5:00 PM (Local time) Purpose of the Role The Financial Operations Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Finance team by assisting with financial analysis support, reporting activities, treasury-related administration, and general departmental coordination. This role helps ensure accurate, organized, and timely financial operations while supporting the Finance team’s broader analytical and strategic objectives. Duties and Responsibilities Financial Analysis & Reporting Support Assist with financial modeling activities, including data preparation, validation, and organization Support the preparation of recurring and ad hoc financial reports and dashboards Help gather, organize, and maintain financial data used for analysis, forecasting, and leadership reporting Treasury & Finance Operations Support Assist with treasury-related administrative tasks such as tracking banking activity, documentation, and reconciliations support Help maintain records related to cash management, banking portals, and treasury controls Support internal tracking of financial activity to ensure accuracy and audit readiness Administrative & Departmental Support Provide general administrative support to the Finance department, including scheduling, coordination, and documentation Assist with maintaining organized digital finance files in accordance with internal controls and retention standards Support internal finance workflows and help route requests, approvals, and follow-ups as needed Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency within the Finance team Value to the Team The Financial Operations Assistant supports the Finance team by ensuring financial data, reports, and administrative processes are accurate, well-organized, and timely. Their support allows Finance leadership and analysts to focus on higher-level financial modeling, analysis, and decision-making. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational and analytical support skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Comfortable working with financial data and reports Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism Training and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in finance administration, reporting support, operations, or analytical support roles preferred Exposure to financial modeling, reporting, or treasury functions is a plus
