Financial Controller with Acumatica
We are looking for a Controller who will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
This role requires a proactive leader with extensive experience in accounting and proficiency in Acumatica software.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ā Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ā Manage the budgeting process, providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Ā Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and standards.
Ā Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.
Ā Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Ā Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Ā Utilize Acumatica software to streamline accounting processes and maintain financial data integrity.
Ā Identify training needs and implement development programs.
Ā Compliance and Reporting:
Ā Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Ā Coordinate and prepare for audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
Ā Oversee tax planning and compliance.
Process Improvement:
Ā Assess current accounting operations and recommend improvements.
Ā Implement new processes and systems to enhance financial operations.
Qualifications:
Ā Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Ā Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Ā CPA certification is a plus.
Ā Proven experience with Acumatica financial software is required.
Ā Experience working with multiple legal entities under different
Ā legal umbrellas is advantageous.
Skills:
Ā Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Ā Proficiency in financial software applications, particularly Acumatica.
Ā Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ā Strong leadership and team management skills.
