Financial Business Controller
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Financial Controller to join our Finance department in Dubai . This role is pivotal in maintaining P&L ownership, ensuring financial integrity, and partnering with business heads to drive growth and cost optimization. Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & P&L: Manage accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group policies. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with business segments to prepare annual budgets, forecast projections, and MIS reports. Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs (Free Cash Flow, EBITDA, Net Debt) and analyze financial performance against prior years to measure growth. Controls & Compliance: Exercise accounting controls to detect fraud or non-compliance and ensure adherence to Delegation of Authority (DOA). Requirements : Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting. Certification : Professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, or ACA is mandatory. Experience : 10+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion, SAP , or similar ERPs, alongside advanced MS Excel skills. Industry Knowledge: Preferred experience in the shipping industry . Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, professional integrity, leadership skills to manage a team of accountants, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
