Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for building financial models and databases to support strategic decision making and business knowledge. Position will assist with the establishment of budget analysis and forecasts processes.
Essential Functions:
Development of forecast models and tools.
Construct models for the analysis for various business cases and recommendations for approval / denial based on profitability analysis.
Analyzing and researching results to identify key business drivers, potential risks, and opportunities.
Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasting.
Compile company capital budget, financial analysis of Capital requests, and develop project tracking reports/tools.
Compile budget performance reports and complete analysis of variances.
Perform financial analyses to determine financial impact of marketing, product, IT, and other initiatives.
Performing sales, volume, and budget analysis on a wide range of programs within the company.
Perform ad-hoc reports and analysis as assigned.

Experience and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience required.
1-3 years experience in accounting or financial analysis.
Advanced Excel skills a must (i.e. database queries, pivot tables, etc.).
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures. Familiar with GAAP and other accounting regulations.
Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills. Highly accurate with a strong attention to follow-up within short deadlines.
Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Discoverer reporting and Business Intelligence a plus.
Experience building financial models.
Exhibits strong oral and written communications skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
Job Benefits:
Pay Rate - $67,000.00 - $80,000.00 annual base salary
