They are seeking a recent graduate for the Financial Analyst position, which involves performing inventory management tasks, financial reporting, and supporting operational efficiency improvements.ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts by generating count documents and posting inventory variances in the systemReview and process requests to rework inventory by converting one material into another, validating financial impact and ensuring proper documentationExtract and compile productivity data from internal systems and tools to support operational and performance reportingSubmit freight-related invoices for timely paymentPerform detailed accounts payable analysis, including blocked invoice exception reporting, debit balance review, and EDI invoice rejectionsAssist with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing various balance sheet reconciliations within required deadlinesPrepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reportsAssist Finance and RIC with specialized and ad hoc reporting, help maintain and improve internal controls through documentation and assessments, and support both internal and external audit initiativesSupport the identification and implementation of efficiency improvements, with a strong emphasis on digitalizing and automating processes and reportingSpecial projects and ad hoc reports analysis as requiredOther responsibilities as assignedSkillsNew graduate from a university program in AccountingGraduated from post-secondary within the last 12 monthsAbove average study performance (Accumulative average > 2.5 (B-)).
