Financial Analyst I
GardaWorld is a high-growth security company seeking a Financial Analyst to support data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and generate actionable insights to optimize performance and manage risk. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and support the development of monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc financial reports to support leadership decision‑making Analyze financial data and trends, translating results into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis Track and report key financial metrics, including revenue operating expenses; identify risks and cost‑reduction opportunities Monitor financial variances, track receivables, and investigate discrepancies to support accurate reporting Utilize spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and visualizations to communicate financial insights effectively Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all financial data and reporting Meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple priorities Perform additional duties as assigned to support evolving business needs Assist in developing and improving automated accounting and reporting tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support strategic initiatives Skills Internship or full-time experience involving financial analysis, data modeling, accounting, or related analytical role Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future Able to pass an extensive screening process Solid understanding of core accounting principles and full-cycle accounting concepts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to analyze complex financial data and summarize findings into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs (or equivalent functions), and financial modeling Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, or ERP platforms Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally across all levels of the organization Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented setting Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and accuracy when handling sensitive financial information Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable supporting a growing organization where priorities may shift Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial analysis to operational and strategic decisions Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, variances, and opportunities Clear, effective communication of financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for results Adaptable team player comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred Power BI experience is a plus Salesforce experience is a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans 401(k) with employer matching contributions Paid time off (PTO) policy Paid holidays Disability coverage Life insurance options Company Overview Garda World Security Corporation provides security solutions, cash logistics, and risk consulting services.
