As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial health of our organization. From analyzing statements and building financial models to supporting cross-functional teams with insights and recommendations, this is a hands-on role where your analytical and problem-solving skills will have a direct impact on our success. This position is hybrid, with 2–3 days per week in our Oakland office, and reports to the Director of FP&A. What You’ll Do Support month-end close processes and reconciliations. Develop and refine monthly and quarterly financial analysis frameworks. Review and analyze financial metrics, statements, and reports to identify key drivers of performance. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and evaluate opportunities for improvement. Build financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making. Inspect accounting systems for efficiency and compliance with best practices. Recommend improvements to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve profitability. Maintain accurate and organized financial records. Assess financial risks and provide best-practice recommendations. Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis as needed. Contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS). What We’re Looking For Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting. Master’s, MBA, or CPA a plus. Experience: 1–3 years in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting (manufacturing industry experience a plus). Skills & Traits: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to clearly present financial data to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite; NetSuite, Odoo, or data analytics tools a plus. Japanese language proficiency strongly preferred.
