Financial Analyst, Brand Finance (Contract)

The Financial Analyst will support the North American Brand Finance Team by maintaining financial forecast models, analyzing profitability of new products, and providing sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesMaintain brand finance forecast modelsAnalyze profitability of potential new productsProvide sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teamsProduce sales and profitability reports for brand finance and cross-functional teamsAssist in developing and maintaining product price databasesAssist brand finance in scrutinizing and updating key product cost drivers used in financial forecast modelsPartner with cross-functional teams to provide financial forecasts for new products and merchandising displays for the Vendor Cost Approval (VCA) and Capital Expense Approval (CEA) processesPartner with cross-functional teams if the analysis for VCA/CEA is under corporate thresholds to provide the rationaleProvide forecast updates including variance analysis with commentary and explanation for significant variancesPartner with IT and/or finance team to assist in implementing continuous enhancements of financial systems as required by the organizationConduct ad-hoc analysis to support the brand finance teamSkillsUniversity degree in commerce or related fieldHigh proficiency in Excel and other MS Office programsDemonstrated business partnership building0-2 years of post-qualification related experience in a financial business support / commercial finance / Financial planning and analysis role an assetKnowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgetingBenefitsGrowth and Career OpportunitiesFlexible Work HoursInnovation, Collaboration and FunComprehensive BenefitsOther fun Perks!Company OverviewSpin Master (TSX: TOY; www.spinmaster.com) est l'une des principales sociétés de divertissement pour enfants au monde.
