Financial Analyst
Acts Retirement-Life Communities is one of the largest not-for-profit owners and operators of resort-style continuing care senior living communities. They are seeking a Financial Analyst responsible for completing regulatory filings, supporting the annual budget process, and assisting the Sales team with various financial tasks. Responsibilities Complete or update quarterly and/or annual reports, minimum liquid reserve calculations, community disclosure statements, certificate of registration renewals, and similar filings for submission to state regulatory departments Ensure compliance with Chapter 651, Florida Statutes Support activities of the annual operating budget process including data formulation, validation, and entry in the business planning application related to revenue, expenses, occupancy, and other statistics, and labor information Assist with production of various reports and presentations referenced by senior and community management throughout the annual operating budget process Assist with reporting on social accountability by identifying and quantifying programs that demonstrate the organization's commitment to the greater community Track and apply statement credits to existing residents that refer new residents Provide support to Sales team members for questions regarding forms, contracts, and pricing Support the financial screening process of prospective residents Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field 0-2 years of accounting, finance, or regulatory reporting experience Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup and SumIF functions) Technical competency in other Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams (willingness to learn software applications needed for job requirements) Experience working with data visualization software, such as Power BI, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as SalesForce, is a plus but not required Benefits Tuition reimbursement Commuter benefits Scholarship awards Professional development programs University partnerships Referral and discount programs Appreciation events Wellness initiatives Health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision) Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Disability programs 401(k) plan (with 4% company match after one year of employment) Paid time off and holidays Company Overview Acts Retirement-Life Communities is a charitable organization that serves senior retirement living communities.
