Financial Aid Specialist (Remote)
The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) has an immediate need for Financial Aid consultants for a fully remote, full-time, 4-6-month engagement. We are seeking reliable, compliance driven candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' practical, hands-on experience in the following targeted Title IV processing areas: Packaging and repackaging aid for returning undergraduate or graduate students.Credit balance analysis and resolution Return to Title IV calculations, including R2T4 requirements for modules The successful candidate will demonstrate: A deep understanding of Title IV regulations and workflowDemonstrated competency with various technology tools including financial aid management systems Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a virtual environment Clear written and verbal communication The ability to troubleshoot issues independently and escalate appropriatelyExcellent attention to detailAdaptability to virtual and asynchronous trainingThe Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc.
