Finance Manager (Remote) - Forecasting, Budgeting & Analysis
Finance Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent in related field and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Job Summary:
Manages and assists the Director and/or Senior Finance Manager in financial and operational analysis activities with a complex functional or organizational scope. The manager will be able to assist in multiple activities at one time with minimum supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ CPA and/or Masters' Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
ā¢ Experience in Health Systems and Academic Medicine (Clinical) is desirable.
ā¢ Financial modeling and sensitivity analyses.
ā¢ Data analytics/ Data mining.
ā¢ Proficient in Excel.
ā¢ Cost Accounting Principles as well as Oracle EPM, PeopleSoft, Action O/I, Strata, Power BI.
Job Duties:
ā¢ Assists the Director and/or Senior Finance Manager with department operations including departmental budget, staffing, and special projects.
ā¢ Supervises the coordination, preparation and analysis of complex financial and operational reports, financial statements, scorecards, metrics, benchmarks, budgets, and financial forecasts across multiple areas.
ā¢ Oversees and validates complex analysis of historical and projected financial and operational data to provide leadership information to make relevant financial decisions.
ā¢ Manages and validates information to support developing trends that will inform forecasts and management decision making.
ā¢ Identifies and utilizes technology and best practices to ensure continuous process improvement.
ā¢ Oversees the quality assurance functions of financial data and statistical information.
ā¢ Remains current with and progressively learns industry trends, analytical techniques, and appropriate financial systems necessary to complete essential job functions.
ā¢ Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
ā¢ Performs related duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
ā¢ Possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding, with progressive development, of financial statements and relationships, analytical techniques, operations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, practices, and procedures.
ā¢ Progressive development of the ability to analyze/evaluate data.
ā¢ Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work and communicate with individuals at all levels of the institution.
ā¢ Possess advanced decision-making skills.

Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
Remote work, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and as needed on occasion.
