Finance Manager

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid - BKC) Department: Finance & Reporting Reports to: Head of Accounting (Global) About NivodaNivoda is building the world's leading B2B marketplace for the diamond and jewelry trade. With sales exceeding USD 250 million and triple-digit growth over the past 5 years, our platform transforms how buyers and sellers interact in this trillion-dollar industry. As we grow, India is becoming a key operational and compliance hub. This role will be critical in setting the diamond standard for finance in this region.Your ResponsibilitiesFinance Leadership: Take full ownership of accounting, statutory compliance, and tax obligations for Nivoda LLP.Month-End & Reporting: Manage accurate and timely month-end closings; ensure clean P&L and Balance Sheet.Audit Readiness: Lead the India audit process and support global audit consolidation.Tax Compliance: Oversee accurate and timely filing of all tax returns; GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.People Management: Mentor, train, and guide 2-3 finance team members, driving performance and learning.Process Controls: Implement best practices, internal controls, and process improvements across finance operations.Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with global teams, external advisors, and auditors to resolve issues swiftly.Intercompany & Reconciliation: Ensure timely reconciliation of intercompany accounts and all ledgers.System Ownership: Leverage NetSuite to streamline workflows and support reporting accuracy.What You’ll BringQualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA equivalentEducation: B.Com/M.Com preferred with 70%+ academic recordExperience: Minimum 3 years post-articleship experience in accounting, audit, and taxStrong hands-on experience in Indian compliance (Income Tax, TDS, GST)Excellent English communication skills both written and verbalExperience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is a plusHighly analytical, self-starter, and solution-orientedWhat You’ll GetMarket-competitive salary and benefits package (including family medical cover)Equity options in a high-growth company on track for IPOAutonomy and trust to build your own function and teamFlexible hours and hybrid working (One BKC + remote)Direct impact on global growth and a core role in shaping finance for IndiaWork with an international, mission-driven, and fun teamExposure to global finance, systems, and leadership
