Finance Director or Consultant

Finance Director (Individual, Consultant, or Firm) Location: Denver, CO preferred (remote possible for exceptional candidates) Compensation: $72,000$120,000 annually, or negotiable based on experience and structure (consultant, firm, or full-time staff) We seek proposals from individuals, consultants, or firms to lead the finance operation of a nationally competitive progressive campaign in Colorado through the exploratory stage and formal campaign launch. The finance lead will build the infrastructure, systems, and relationships needed to raise significant resources and compete at the highest level from day one. This is a rare opportunity to shape a campaign from the ground up. We're looking for someone who can pair strategic vision with disciplined execution, designing a comprehensive finance program while also rolling up their sleeves to make calls, cultivate donor relationships, track pledges, and coordinate events with precision. Key Skills & Expectations Relationship-Driven: You build and sustain donor relationships through thoughtful outreach, strategic engagement, and consistent follow-up. Detail-Oriented: You live in the CRM. You know who gave, when, what they were asked for, and what follow-up is due. Communications-Savvy: Youre confident drafting fundraising emails, prepping call scripts, and working with the candidate to maximize every touchpoint. Execution-Focused: You dont just plan you make it happen, adapting quickly in a fast-paced, startup-style campaign environment.
