Finance Analyst - New York (Hybrid)

As a Finance Analyst, you will prepare and evaluate financial reports, maintain accounting policies, and respond to management and client requests regarding accounting issues.ResponsibilitiesComplete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packagesCreate and post journal entries and ensure that all expenses, receipts, owner's distributions, funding requests, and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately postedUse aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reportsGenerate financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reportingReview the accuracy of information provided and respond to requests from management and vendorsUnderstand and work with scenario planning (exit/maintain/grow) tools/models, while analyzing trends in general business conditionsRespond to and resolve issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reportsResearch open accounting issues and recognize potential issues and conflicts so corrective action can intercept and minimize issuesUse existing procedures to solve standard problemsHave some knowledge of standard principles with limited practice experience in applying themLead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE valuesImpact the quality of own workWork within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlinesExchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understandingSkillsBachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be consideredAbility to use existing procedures to solve standard problemsExperience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgmentsIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etcOrganizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindsetIntermediate math skills.
