As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and complete financial reports across our many subsidiaries around the world and Group based in the UK. As a member of Financial Control team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making. What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred, or extensive experience in a similar finance function. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, P&L, Balance Sheet). Strong excel skills Experience working in an international business, working with multiple currencies. A flexible individual who enjoys working in a changing environment, with an enjoyment for problem solving and a strong analytical mindset. Demonstrated organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities with minimum supervision. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. An excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. What you will focus on Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations and pro-actively investigate any discrepancies; Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing necessary data and schedules. Work with stakeholders across the business to make accounting processes more efficient; Learn our accounting policies and ensure they are correctly applied in our accounting records; Support financial audits by providing accurate and timely information to auditors; Provide variance analysis on areas of responsibility, identifying the cause and any potential further impact; Deliver ad hoc analysis to support the wider Financial Control team.
