Fill-in Telehealth Optometrist, Georgia Licensed
Job Overview
We are seeking an optometrist to provide remote fill-in work. The candidate will be an independent contractor and will be paid $40 per exam and an additional $15 for each CL fit. The candidate will need to have a current Georgia license. This is a remote position, so candidates will be able to provide care from any location. The practices are located in Georgia. Techs workup the patients and the candidate will review all exam findings and perform refractions. Shifts are flexible and can range from 5-8 hours based on candidate preference. The clinic is currently open Monday-Thursday. Specifically looking for help on March 30-April 16.
Duties
• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and glasses based on patient needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient history, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens usage, and preventative care.
Requirements
• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Georgia state license to practice optometry.
• Stable internet connection
• Laptop/PC
• Familiarity with digital medical records management systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
