Job Title: FileCloud Administrator (AWS / VDI) – Remote
Location: Remote (Des Moines, IA client)
Duration: 12 Months (W2 Only)
Pay Rate: $65/hr + benefits
Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced FileCloud Administrator with strong AWS (GovCloud) and VDI experience to support a state government cloud environment. This role involves managing FileCloud, AWS infrastructure, and virtual desktop environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer FileCloud (user onboarding, access, troubleshooting)
• Manage AWS infrastructure (GovCloud, VDI, applications)
• Support VDI environments (AWS WorkSpaces or similar)
• Monitor system performance, security, and compliance
• Perform upgrades, patching, and issue resolution
Required Skills
• 8+ years FileCloud administration
• 5+ years AWS (GovCloud preferred)
• Strong experience with VDI / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
• Experience with Windows, Linux, CLI
• Prior State/Government client experience (mandatory)
Nice to Have
• AWS WorkSpaces
• Cloud migration & performance tuning
• Strong troubleshooting in distributed systems
Important
• W2 only
• On-call support required (occasional nights/weekends)
