FIFO Head Chefs, Chef Supervisors and Chefs

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector, specifically throughout our Far North Qld region, we are looking for experienced Heads Chefs, Chef Supervisors and Line Chefs to take us into our next growth phase, as we mobilise our newest venture catering for approximately 280 residents. Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work a 14:7 roster, working 10 hour days. Flights ex Townsville or Cairns, accommodation and meals included. May consider FIFO ex Brisbane for the Head Chef role only. The Positions Head Chef – 14/7 10 - $120k + super Chef Supervisor – 14/7 10 - $108k + super Line Chef – 14/7 10 - $100963 + super The Person Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery (essential) Food safety supervisory certification (desirable) Experience within bulk catering/remote environments Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines The Benefits As a Team Member with Compass Group, you will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
