Field Service Technician
Job Duties Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of Digital Completions Solutions (DCS) products. Perform field upgrades of software and hardware. Document and communicate field failures, customer feedback, and improvement ideas. Ability to properly communicate and build strong relationships with on-site client representatives and client’s service provider crews. Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. Maintain accurate equipment inventory on the truck and equipment at client locations. Participate in hardware assembly, hardware installation, and R&D testing of DCS products. Work schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off for local technicians Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule Good interpersonal skills Good verbal and written communication skills Willing to be on call Minimal Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be 21 years of age. Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report. Willingness to be on call and ability to travel per the manager's request. Good verbal and written communication skills (English). Not afraid of heights. Proven knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations, equipment, and terminology. Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues. Ability to troubleshoot issues related to sensors, PLCs, and networking/cabling. Preferred Qualification Requirements: Upstream completions background or Electronics Technician experience. AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
