We’re currently seeking a Field Service Specialist to support our customers across Michigan and Northern Ohio. What You’ll Do As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance. You will: Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems. Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams). Manage a dynamic schedule across the territory. Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication. Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience. Territory This role covers Michagan and Northern Ohio and will be based in the Detroit metro area. Candidates should be comfortable managing travel and adapting to varying client needs and environments. ✅ What You Bring BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline. 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing laboratory instrumentation. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Strong time management and the ability to work independently. Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the territory in the South Region. Bonus Points For: Previous experience traveling for field service work. Familiarity with process-based applications. Candidates with strong computer literacy and experience using common business or industry-specific software Why Metrohm USA?
