Job Title: Field Service RepresentativeLocation: Remote - United StatesPrimary Purpose:Ensure that training and guidance are provided to the customer resulting in assembly and erection of Acrow products in accordance with relevant company design standards and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: Function as principal advisor to customers for on-site activities in accordance with bridge erection and removalsPartner with customers and engineering team on bridge reconnaissance, site selection and site prep coordinationUnderstand all safety procedures and ensure safe work practices are followed to maintain a safe work environmentManage required project documents to ensure completion of project on timePerform customer training as required in a classroom / yard environmentUnderstand and adhere to all Acrow’s policies and applicable lawsThis position requires a significant amount of travel to Acrow locations or Customer Sites. Travel may be global and inclusive of remote locations and at times accompanied by military personnel.Perform other duties as required Skills and Knowledge: Strong work ethic with ability to adapt to quickly changing business environmentExcellent customer service skills Good written and verbal communication skillsCapable of organizing customer project tracking and multiple tasksExcellent attention to detailPossess a sense of urgencySound decision making skillsAble to work with a diverse group of peopleProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelValid driver’s license Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil/Construction Technology and 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience. Preferred Skills and Knowledge: NCO level with an MRBC unit or equivalentExperience in the Bridge Engineers division of one of the armed services directing soldiers or personnel in the development of bridge and construction projects Working Conditions: Work is typically performed in a field environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work requires some physical effort in the handling of materials, boxes, or equipment.
