Summary of the roleProvide expertise during the sales process about the company's products and services to internal employees (e.g. sales, technicians, engineers, etc.) and customers. Provide support remotely or at customer sites.As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.Role and ResponsibilitiesPerforming the installation and commissioning of Nordson systemsPerforming preventive maintenance and repair on demand on Nordson equipmentInstruction of the customer into the use of Nordson equipmentTroubleshooting on PA-specific technology including fault analysis in customers processesCarrying out customer tests in collaboration with sales and application technology in PA lab and at customer siteParticipation at stagings (Verification of customer specifications, application and system tests, determination of process parameters)Preparing and promptly submitting administrative and technical reportsAdvising of new markets, changes in existing markets, competitor activities (prices and product changes), and needs for new or redesigned Nordson hardwareInterfacing with Aftermarket and Sales team and PA EMEA Customer Project Engineers supporting/consulting to maximize the opportunity for sales of Nordson PA systems, spare parts and maintenance contractsConducting customer trainings for systems and applications in English and local languageCollaboration and consultation on exhibitions, open-houses and similar eventsSkills and QualificationsAt minimum an Associate’s Degree in a mechatronics discipline or equivalent and ideally longstanding (>5-10 years) of practical experience as a Field Service Engineer / Field Service TechnicianAdvanced skills and knowledge about mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to read & understand technical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic and wiring diagramsPreferably knowledge about PLC systems and interfacesKnowledge and skills to include the use of typical instrumentation, tools and equipmentExperiences in installation, service, maintenance and similar areasComputer skillset to create administrative and technical reportsGood knowledge of MS Office and SAPFluent English language skillsCustomer- and service orientationIndependent way of working and solution-oriented thinkingGood communication and presentation skillsVery good organizational skillsWillingness to take responsibilityResilience and flexibilityVery good ability to work in a teamWillingness to travel and valid car driver`s licenseTravelWillingness to travel.BenefitsWe offer a flexible work schedule, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development.About Nordson Product AssemblyNordson Product Assembly is the leader in precision dispensing, fluid management, and related technologies.
