Field Rep, Obedience/Rally-Part Time
The Field Rep travels to obedience/rally events to observe/test/interview judges and judging candidates, and mentors new judges. Assists clubs, fellow field reps, and in-house staff in dealing with problems and issues encountered at events. Responds promptly to judge and exhibitor emails and phone calls. When attending events, the field rep ensures that each trial runs smoothly, assisting clubs, judges, and exhibitors as needed. Assists with the department's administrative tasks as needed.
ā¢ Must have 5+ years of experience as an Obedience and Rally judge.
Primary Job Duties
ā¢ Travels to obedience/rally events to observe/test/interview judges and judging candidates and mentor new judges.

Required Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Competency Requirements
ā¢ High school diploma/GED
ā¢ Must have 5+ years' experience as an obedience and rally judge.
ā¢ Computer/Equipment skills - needs above-average word processing and average spreadsheet software skills.
ā¢ Extensive knowledge of AKC sport regulations.
ā¢ Must be accessible and customer-service oriented.
ā¢ Must be capable of analyzing potential or true emergencies and quickly provide a resolution.
ā¢ Effective communication skills are a must.
ā¢ Must be able to write clear and concise reports.
ā¢ Valid drivers' license and vehicle required.
The salary range for this position is $22.00 per hour. This role works 28 or less hours per week.
