Your role:

As the Field Marketing Expert (f/m) for Western Europe, you will serve as the regional expert in Food & Beverage sector, providing valuable input to global marketing plans. You will translate these global strategies into actionable regional execution plans and take the lead in developing and driving marketing campaigns focused on lead generation and brand awareness. You will produce sales tools and help create sales opportunities that align with both global and regional priorities.

You will also be responsible for delivering product and application training to both the Sales team and customers, organizing and hosting webinars, and representing our BioMonitoring products at customer events, seminars, and industry organizations. Building and maintaining strong external networks by liaising with key opinion leaders and regulators will be an important part of your role.

Supporting the Sales Force in the field, you will join customer visits and leverage your knowledge and expertise to address business needs. Acting as the Voice of Sales, you will help develop effective and innovative approaches to meet these needs. You will capture and analyze field data as well as relevant regulations, providing insights into market and sales trends. Incorporating customer feedback, you will advise on competitor positioning and pricing. Finally, you will actively engage in portfolio planning, support new product development and market research, and drive product seeding efforts in Western Europe.

This position is home-based within Europe, requiring regular travel across the region (up to 60% of your time) to strengthen customer relationships and presence at industry engagements. Who you are:

You hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biology or a closely related field; advanced business or finance qualifications are a plus.
You bring at least 5 years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, or technical support within the Life Science industry.
You possess strong expertise in microbiology applications specific to the Food and Beverage market and an understanding of its sub-segments.
Your communication skills are excellent, with the ability to clearly present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences; fluency in English is essential, with additional European languages considered an asset.
You have a track record of managing complex sales processes and developing innovative solutions to customer challenges.
You demonstrate an intrapreneurial mindset, taking ownership and driving innovation within your role.
You are highly agile, proactive, and customer-focused, able to influence effectively across teams and external partners.
