Job Summary
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) serves as the technical interface between customers and the company, providing expert support for MPS products. The FAE works closely with sales, R&D, and customers to drive design-in activities, resolve technical issues, and enable successful adoption of MPS products in customer applications

Key Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers for MPS products
Work directly with customers’ engineering teams to understand system requirements and recommend suitable power solutions.
Support design-in and design-win activities, including schematic reviews, component selection, and system optimization.
Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training to customers and internal sales teams.
Assist customers with board bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting hardware and system-level issues.
Analyze customer issues and coordinate with R&D and product engineering teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Develop and maintain application notes, technical documentation, and reference designs.
Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product improvement and roadmap planning.
Support customer evaluations, prototypes, and qualification processes.
Travel to customer sites as required to provide on-site technical support.

Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in FAE, hardware design, Power Architecture or applications engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Power semiconductor devices and electronic systems.
Understanding of most common power supply architecture, DCDC converter/Controllers, AC-DC Topologies
Experience with Analog, digital, power, or mixed-signal ICs
Ability to read and analyze schematics, datasheets, and PCB layouts.
Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in specific domains such as power management in Energy Meters, UPS/Inverters, Automotive electronics, and industrial
Familiarity with power Architecture, firmware, or software tools.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (EMI /EMC)
Customer-facing or technical Support experience. Work Environment

Moderate travel required
