As a result of Joseph Joseph’s ambitious growth plan in Germany and Austria, an exciting opportunity has been created for the position of Field Account Manager - North & Western Region of Germany. The successful candidate will join one of the most exciting companies in the global housewares market today and will in this exciting Field Sales role be responsible for the North Western Region of Germany and sustainably built-up, expand and drive the business with new and already existing customers.
You will report to and work directly with the Country Manager - Germany & Austria (based in Germany). It is an excellent opportunity for a successful, ambitious individual to fully realise the potential of the brand by utilising their local market expertise.
What you will be doing:
Drive Independent specialists & physical stores across all channels and optimise existing commercial relationships.

Pro-actively win new strategic account Trade Partners and Independent customers (GPK)

Support the Key Account Managers with their national customer chains (e.g. furniture, electrical retail, department stores & grocery)

Develop strong network and customer relationship to increase partners engagement and commitment to the brand.

Increase sales and profitability by market strategy implementation, sales concept creation and active business management delivering strong sales pitch presentations.

Achieve listings, create strong promotions, implement Planogram & POS strategies, optimize sales condition, reliably plan demand & solve customer problems in line with JJ’s brand & market strategy.

Diligently work & efficiently communicate with internal stakeholders like trade marketing, customer service, demand planning, finance & controlling to ensure mutual understanding of customer needs and JJ’s go-to-market strategy requirements.

Active participation and involvement in yearly agreement & pricing negotiations and actively document outcome and follow-up.

Participation in Industry fairs (e.g. Ambiente, TrendSet, EK Live, etc.), specific events, and sales meetings

Constantly benchmark and collect market & shopper insights within your accounts and provide feedback to the Country Manager, Key Account Managers and the Global Headquarter in UK

What we need from you:
Strong background in sales/channel management as Field Sales Representative or comparable Retail experience.

Bachelor/Master in business administration/economics or a comparable professional qualification or more than 7 years of Sales Experience

A clear history of successful sales management & business development.

Strong established relationship and network within accounts/channels preferred, but not mandatory, if the willingness to approach people and develop networks is present.

Experience of working within a premium branded business preferred.

Adept at building and managing forecasts and budgets.

Experience working with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of dealing with Regional or National key accounts/customers

Intercultural experience and experience working in project environments.

Understanding of trade marketing including sales planning and promotions.

Knowledge of accounts who deal in the housewares market.

Fluency in German and English required.

High flexibility and willingness to travel.
