Position Overview:
• Providing intensive home-based family therapy to children, adolescents, and their families in an ethical and culturally competent manner. Clients are children/adolescents who are at risk of out of home placement (such as in-patient hospitalization, residential treatment, or foster care) due to emotional/behavioral struggles.
• Utilizing an Eco-systemic structural family therapy (ESFT) model which engages the entire family in the treatment process as well as integrative approaches.
• Attending ESFT trainings with eligibility for certification in ESFT (after 3 years)
• Responsible for keeping in contact with collaterals, providing case management, and providing community linkage.
• Providing crisis management and family support services
• Attending and participating in weekly team and group supervisions
• Completing and/or uploading all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner per assigned standards
• Must be able to work within a team and collaborate with others.
• Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the family and does require frequent evenings.
• Therapist must be willing to be on-call for emergency crisis situations on a rotating basis.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Travel to all geographic areas of Cumberland/Perry County is required.
• Work in family homes, community and via telehealth

Requirements
• Bachelor’s in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Theology, or a related mental health service field; OR bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience working within the CASSP system program.
• Three clearances (Pennsylvania Childline Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Background Check)
• Training in Mandated Child Abuse Reporting
• Candidates currently in master’s programs for counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, theology, or a related mental health service field are encouraged to apply.
